Doubt it, but just like you, I'm only guessing.

The photo is from last year's Army game.  Hogan doesn't seem to be leaning forward (w.r.t. shoulders, towards cam) as much as he would seem to need if he were running hard.  But I think I've seen this enough stationary and on the move from him to think that this is just how he learned to throw.
