I don't expect to see much this week that would indicate that any RZ problems are solved.  If Stanford is actually going to get more varied & aggressive in the red zone there's really no reason to showcase it today.  Better to work on fixing the basic things that were so screwed up last Saturday and save the gameplan changes for UW since they will have 2 weeks to work on them.

This is nonsense.  Good teams execute, period.  Against anybody.  And they gain more confidence executing in games than practice.  There is no reason to worry about giving things away to the other team when you execute everything you do well.  Moreover, coaches always tweak things for every game.
