Well, it may be true but I don't think it's terribly seemly to be complaining too loudly and too publicly about it, because it implies something negative about the players you do have. For example, I thought Trent Johnson's parting shot at Mitch Johnson's speed was not terribly classy.*
* (now, I realize that I've previously argued that I don't really care, when assessing a coach, about the representative-of-the-university factor, assuming they're not, say, a Brian Kelly-level embarrassment. True! That doesn't make unethical behavior ethical, it just means it doesn't matter all that much.)
