From my perspective, all of my concerns about the defense leading into the season are gone. If Golson can light up the Stanford D, I think we will all grudgingly admit the better team won. You just won't find a lot of people on the Stanford side who believe he can.
But despite our red zone woes, the offense has managed to move the ball. For all that "Hogan doesn't impress me" is a Stanford opponent's weekly talking point, he has regularly beaten teams with guys who are considered better than him.
