From my perspective, all of my concerns about the defense leading into the season are gone. If Golson can light up the Stanford D, I think we will all grudgingly admit the better team won. You just won't find a lot of people on the Stanford side who believe he can.

But despite our red zone woes, the offense has managed to move the ball. For all that "Hogan doesn't impress me" is a Stanford opponent's weekly talking point, he has regularly beaten teams with guys who are considered better than him.

i very much doubt golson will light up the stanford d, but i dont see either side lighting up the oposition, but i think he can have some success against  them, we will just have to wait and see if its enough! 

and i have been impressed with hogan with what i have seen. 
couple questions (and i mean these honestly because i dont know-not trying to draw comparisons) , how is his arm strength?  I know he is a smart qb, making reads, and isn't afraid to get hit/run.  But should we be afraid of him stretching the field, or does his accuracy drop?  or is he more comfortable in the 20-30 yard range
