We are glad that you have nothing but respect for Stanford.

But you will not find that reciprocated here. Most of us do not respect Notre Dame and many of us would never consider it as a school and would discourage our kids from considering it, too.  I say that from experience.

You clearly underestimate how deep the dislike of Notre Dame is outside of its rabid fan club and alumni. 

And perhaps more than anything else, many--perhaps most--of us loathe Brian Kelly and his absurd sideline behavior are televised upbraiding of his players.
