This year's Stanford D is as tough as last year, special teams are even and the O has been sloppy and sporadic. the University of Dead Fake Girlfriends seems improved at QB, may have an edge on offense over their previous version but is unproven on defense.Â
The other big difference is location - playing in South Bend should provide a big edge for the Irish. I think this one will be close.
NDI, I can see how an Irish fan can make a case for Golson over Hogan but let's see how events play out on Saturday. We're just fine with our head coach, thank you. Glad you like yours but nothing about Kelly makes me wish he was on our side of the field. I'm actually a little surprised you like him so much. His bluster, stumbles while attempting damage control and public beat downs of players on the sidelines have us frequently shaking our heads.
Close and hard hitting!
I am not a 100% sold on Kelly as a complete package. I think he is a great coach. Most of the antics that people fault him for i think he outgrew once he got use to the position. I think he has been put in some tough spots since he has been here, but has done ok dealing with them. I don t know what stumbles you are referring to, but everyone has their opinion. But he came here with a broken down team and coaching staff and has really turned the program around.Â
