Um, baseball not a good choice for comparison.  Pitcher Mark Appel was the #1 choice in the professional baseball draft last year.

I still think ND and Stanford are well matched for the upcoming game.  ND has home field advantage (they've won 11 of 14 games with us there) and weather could be a factor (possible showers and wind).  21-20 Stanford win.

As an aside, last night I was trolling a ND site where a Domer fan accused us of being a "dirty team", so there's obviously no love lost between the two fan bases.  Hogan needs to play his best game of the year on Saturday.
