Not to actually talk about the game itself, but...
My strong feeling is Peter Kalambayi is going to be a giant pain in Golson's arse on Saturday. Golson will not be able to escape his pursuit, and he will not dance around Kalambayi like he can the typically inferior athletes he usually faces. Stanford's defense will be as suffocating as Alabama's was in the NCG.Â
That said, Stanford has played three games against physically sound teams lately, and lost all three, giving up 17, 24, and 13 points. Though I'm perfectly open to the idea Stanford has the potential to score more than 24 points this Saturday, I'm not going to believe it can happen against a physically sound team until the offense proves it can. Stanford seems more likely to score 13 than 24, so I have strong doubts Stanford will win.
