You didn't see it wrong, he whiffed horribly on a key block that led to a sack.  That being said, he has looked pretty good on pass protection this year outside that play. 

I count myself in the "Barry Believers" camp, but clearly the problems with our offense run much deeper then who is at tailback right now

I'm not bashing Barry either.  I refuse to bash any of these kids.  They try hard and want to win.  God bless them.  But it reminds me of dog breeding.  For many years we bred and showed Champion Newfoundlands.  It was a family endeavor.  Sometimes a promising dog didn't work out so we retired him/her to the house, where they lived out their lives as much loved pets, and entered another to try to win and advance the kennel rep and bloodline.  We never bashed the first dog, it just wasn't working so we went with Plan B.  Fortunately, in dogs, there isn't weekly TV and polls so you have time to go to Plan C.  Is this OT enough? :)
