Likewise, I don't have the numbers in front of me, but I would bet we were much more effective at converting third or fourth and short last year (and 2011) as compared to this year and 2012. Having 3rd and 1 or 2 be near automatic dramatically opens up your playcalling when you find yourself in advantagous down and distance positions (which admittedly we haven't seen nearly enough of this year).
