That was a very tough loss, but our first post-game comments were about how entertaining it was.  Texas seemed to be pulling away at several points, but Stanford always battled back.  Stanford had a real chance to steal the game at the end of regulation, but we had to give Texas credit.  They deserved the win.

Their post players were bigger and more physical than ours, and Texas also had good speed on the perimeter.  They are a good team.  I suspect that there will be a number of games this season that could go either way, and I expect Stanford to win their fair share of them.

I agree that another scorer needs to step up.  K. Samuelson seemed a bit beat up and was not hitting her shots last night.  She does have the ability, however, and she might be the missing piece.
