Yes, I was kind of astonished that Hawai'i picked up their second team foul with about 8 minutes to go in the second half. Both halves felt like the officials looked up about midway through and realized how lopsided their calls were, and made up for them late; in the first half, the Bows were in the bonus with more than 12 minutes left.
More important: McCall 5-8 11 pts and 9 rebs, Johnson 5-5 10 pts 8 rebs. The beginnings of a more legitimate inside threat, the slow development of which you can put down to Tara's reluctance to play them extended minutes with Chiney and Mikaela last season. Of the three primary post players, the one who got the most minutes in the role last year was probably a fourth - Taylor.
