The Lynx won it all in 2011 and were the runner-up team last year (losing to the Fever)--with the franchise on the upswing, I guess Minnesota thought Wiggins (a 6th woman bench player) was dispensable.  Well, the Lynx do have three #1 draft picks, incl. Maya Moore.
