Quote:Back to the thread, this is the best support I've seen for Andrew from the Colts defense and his offensive line. It really is a shame they traded a first round pick for a guy they didn't even suit up for a game. If they play like this next weekend, they got a chance against the Patriots. Would be so sweet if Luck and the Luckettes can take down his predecessor, Commercial Boy, and then that pretty boy Uggs schiller, and then his draft classmate who lucked into a stacked team with no weaknesses.
Looking ahead, today's outcome does not make me more optimistic against the Pats. The Colts won today because the offensive line protected Luck, the defense played pretty well, and the Broncos imploded. Seriously, Peyton was way off on his touch on those deep baseline throws, they had no intermediate game, and the receivers dropped half the catchable balls. I don't think you'll see the same mistakes from Brady, Gronk, Edelman et al. Plus, you'll have a serious coaching upgrade to deal with Belichek. That ineligible receiver BS he pulled against the Ravens is probably one of a half dozen loop holes he's probably identified that he can exploit.
The Colts offense may or may not play as well as they did today, but I don't think the Pats will be held to 13 points.
The Colts have a chance (apparently opening as 7 point dogs, which feels a little light when you consider they beat the Colts in Indy by 22 a few weeks back). But everyone will have to play their best and the Pats will need to make some key mistakes.
