A high SAT score requires a lot of studying and practice tests.Â I wouldn't assume that work ethic and attitude were absent from a high SAT score.Â However, it only takes a a year or so of such study to really improve your score...and a GPA is built over four years (three and a half before admissions?), so there's more weight for persistence there.
