I'm still holding out a vague hope it was unintentional because it's just so stupid if it wasn't. It's really annoying too because any sober, unbiased analysis would show that it just didn't influence any outcomes (neither this nor the "spygate" non-scandal), but it doesn't matter because:
1) People don't need excuses to hate successful franchises;
2) Sober, unbiased analyses are utterly impossible in sports;
3) THEN WHY ***** DO IT???
It's very frustrating. I feel roughly similar to how I'd feel if I found out Shaw was contacting recruits during the dead period or something. Like, okay, I get you want to get every advantage possible, but this doesn't give you one and carries blowback potential, so why do it?
Frustrating.
