Good luck this weekend Shasta_61. Since I live in Utah, it's nice to be in a position to sincerely root for the Utes. I just love the style of football they are playing and I revelled in thier plucking of the Ducks.

But we did have some fun news today. In Presidents Circle there are about 36-40 parking stalls. ESPN will take up about a dozen or so for their production trucks. The Crimson Club decided to invite some tailgaters to set up in the circle as a backdrop for the show. We are lucky enough to be one of those invited which will be fun.
The bad part? We have to be completely set up by 5 pm local on Friday so everyone's taking the day off. The live look-ins start at 4:00 am local time and we have to be in full tailgate mode at 6:00 so ESPN can shoot footage to use during the show. So that's going to make for a really early morning and a really long day.
Enjoy the bye week and if you can hang another "L" on UCLA the next Thursday, you know, that would be - yeah - y'know, great.

Since the day is going to be a three meal day, we're keeping breakfast pretty simple. Bacon, eggs, hash browns and pancakes. And coffee...lots of coffee.

Coffee is allowed in in SLC city limits? Aren't the blue laws against that sort of thing? Or at least an ordinance that insures the level of caffeination is below what can be purchased elsewhere in the US?

I was running errands this morning and tuned into ESPN Radio, which was broadcasting College GameDay from Utah. I could swear I heard one of the announcers say "the dirty golden bear." Anybody else hear that?
