This is an old case, dating back to the early 80's, before Oregon was on the map as a football powerhouse. The whole article is worth a read, and talks about a whole host of issues at Oregon around the turn of the decade (70's to 80's), but focuses on one case, where a number of UofO football players coerced an 18-year-old student into performing oral sex on them (the facts of the case were not in dispute; interestingly the case hinged on whether the threats they made against her were protected speech). Although the article is long, it is well worth a read, because it shows how the case led to Oregon having the most permissive speech in the country.
Also, passing mention was made to the irony of UofO players (who weren't born at the time) taunting Jameis Winston with chants of "no means no".
