The line opened with Notre Dame favored by 2; it has since shifted to Stanford being favored by 3.5.  A 5.5 point swing is pretty significant.  Must be the ND injuries?

I'm not sure, but the ESPN FPI predictor has Stanford as a 62% favorite, and Sagarin has us favored as well. I don't think either of those factor in injuries. Maybe the opening line was just bad.

Stanford is 8-3 ATS, 2-2 in the last four games and 5-1 at home.

Noter Dame is 7-4 ATS, 1-3 in the last four games and 2-4 on the road (undefeated ATS at home, quelle surprise).  They were 15.5 point favorites over Boston College last weekend and won 19-16 at BC.

I think I see where that 5.5 swing came from.

Is that not the very definition of overrated?  And why was I hearing commentators speaking of the south benders as being the third or fourth best team in America?  I guess they forgot about the 2013 ('12 season) national championship game...totally exposed.
