Here's David Shaw vs. Las Vegas's over-unders:
Shaw's teams have exceeded Vegas's expectations four of five years as head coach. Cumulatively, he's up 4-5 wins relative to the over-unders -- but that's added up from the early part of his tenure, when the market had low expectations for the man. Since then the price has increased.
And remember, at a rarefied level, merely meeting expectations is pretty darn impressive. (Saban's 'bama teams routinely run up against 10.5 win over-under expectations!) The market is getting close to setting those expectations for Stanford.
