Yes, Redrum, I am on record as believing SJSU should get out of Division I sports, and that there are strong structural reasons why SJSU can never be truly successful at this level over the long haul.  But this thread was not about that--but a young football player whose mother is dying of cancer, and for whom he played in one of the few bowls whose cause is really worth celebrating.

Totally agree, he seems to have the knack for it.  Journalistically speaking, he's been the you-know-what in the punch bowl so often, it doesn't even surprise me any more.
