David DeCastro named first-team AP All-Pro

Wow, that's awesome. I hadn't been following the Steelers closely this season but it seems like in the past that comments from Steeler fans indicated they were happy with DD but not blown away. But I guess they're just a critical bunch. Or he's made a big leap this year.
Hopefully Garnett has a similar impression and we can become OG-U in addition to QB-U and TE-U.

So when Bloomgren is recruiting O-Lineman does he talk about Garnett or DeCastro first?

For those of you who don't know what an All-Pro in the NFL is, it is similar to the AP All-American team. In DeCastro's case, it means he is considered one of the 2 best starting Guards in the NFL. Pretty awesome accolade for a guy's career. Do this about five times and you are pretty much a hall of famer in the making.

That's awesome. Great to see him come back so strong after the injury in 2012.
