The Stanford football team selected five captains for the 2016 season, the program announced Sunday evening. They were outside linebacker Peter Kalambayi, running back Christian McCaffrey, strong safety Dallas Lloyd, offensive guard Johnny Caspers and defensive end Solomon Thomas.

Always good when your best players are the team captains. 

All those guys have experience dominating in games, although it must be said that Kalambayi hasn't been as consistently dominant as hoped.  Stanford's defense will only be dominant if he becomes a consistent force as a pass rusher.
