If you haven't watched the ABC TV show Speechless yet, it's pretty great. It's about a wonderfully flawed family with 3 kids, one of which has special needs (played by an actor with Cerebral Palsy). It's hilarious, not predictable, and sweet.
In Episode 3, B-O-N BONFIRE, the kid's caretaker explains the prank they're pulling on the rival school football team: "Okay, so, now, originally, we were gonna tie up their quarterback and send him up the flag pole, but Rob White's a lock for Stanford, and you don't want to mess with that."
Nice that even with our current woes, a Stanford Football scholarship is seen as something to treasure and protect even by ones enemies.
