It is hard to compare the situation for Stanford versus all the other teams with single standout players. Â It is sure that if any one of them was the only great player on the team, they\'d have much better personal statistics and be in better position to win individual honors. Â It struck me during the year that there are just so many possessions in a game, and when you share the scoring, any one player doesn\'t get the 20+ scoring average.
On the other hand, if they didn\'t have such excellent teammates to share the court with, would they be unable to do as well when the defense can focus on them?
I\'m sure that none of them would want anything different than their current situation, except maybe to help all their teammates excel as well.
