Defending NC Stanford women's tennis is overall 7 seed in the field announced today.  They open on May 13 vs. Idaho (same opponent as the men will be playing the prior day).  Winner plays the winner of TCU and Rice.  Yes, the 2nd round men's AND 1st round women's tournaments will be contested at Stanford on May 13.

we should beat Michigan to get to the quarterfinals, but then follows 3 very tough matches. Hard to predict with our relative lack of strength at the top of the lineup combined with great strength at the bottom 3 singles spots. Probably all depends on how much we've progressed in doubles; definitely need that doubles point in those last 3 matches!
