Dr. Saturday Stanford review

Quote:It wont be nearly as easy any longer. The Stanford offensive line returns four starters at every position but center
Umm that's news to me. Also, the author doesn't understand Pac-12 scheduling:
Quote:This was the year to get both Arizona schools, but Oregon and Oregon State draw that honor.
We never "draw" the honor of playing both Arizona and ASU, but that's a minor quibble.

It wasn't a bad preview, despite some typos/factual slips.
[And for another, the article says the only defensive starters we lose are Lloyd and Thomas, but their table says 8 starters return on defense. It is tricky to count returning starters. Whether Stanford returns 8 or 9 depends upon how you categorize Hoffpaiur - but either way the two bits are incompatible.]
... And it does look like it would be the year to draw the Arizonas.
My issue with this sort of preview is that it runs down a bunch of positive things, without really saying anything about why they came in at #14; not higher or lower. But that is just tilting at windmills.
