Between these articles and the ones about Owen Marecic last year, one could almost be forgiven for thinking Stanford\'s engineering departments have come up with well-programmed androids who refuse to flaunt their celebrity and grow hair for cancer patients and help little old ladies across the street (or help women in distress find the rest room). If I weren\'t a Stanford fan, I would probably find my latent diabetes acting up -- but since I am, I love it!

(I met up with Nneka Ogwumike in the grocery store this afternoon, and she\'s another one we can put on our list of too-nice-to-be-real.)

I don\'t understand what the big deal is. I mean sure, he got the second highest grade in his class, but everybody knows that he took the easiest classes possible and that at the FU.rd, everybody automatically gets A\'s because of grade inflation. What, was his A in a larger font than everybody else\'s?
