Lately, Stanford runs quite often out of the shotgun on plays that look like a read-option. Problem is it is hard to tell if there is really and reading and optioning going on. Nominally, the answer is typically yes when the OL is zone blocking and no when it's man, but not sure if that has been reliable for what Stanford has been doing lately.

I agree. I assume all the times the QB kept the ball were options (though I suppose they could have been designed fake hand-offs QB runs). As for the Love TD run, that's why I wrote "at least one". I based the assessment that it was a read option from the film breakdown that Shasta shared. There may have been others.
