Watched a bit of the beginning. Tough to get much of a feel for obvious reasons, but Daejon Davis looked very good.

10:30 left in 2d half. Stanford 63-48.
Was tied 35-35 at the half. So far 21 fouls called in 2d half...after 26 or so in the 1st half. Come on down...with these refs well be here all night ð

Stanford beats Chico State 91-81. I tuned in with just over 3 minutes left and Stanford let a 23 point lead dwindle to 11. I only saw one Stanford FG scored.
I've got to say that White needs to lose that 80s jazzercise headband and the man bun. It's not a good look. :o

...my stepson was in a study-abroad program in NSW for a year during his junior and senior years in high school - it's just an Aussie beachboy thang, mate! ;)

Didn't get to watch, but to me this seems very indicative of what it was - a preseason scrimmage. Things are going to be sloppy. This same Chico State team lost to Arizona 78-70 to begin last season. (They actually play Arizona next, don't remember when that game is though.)

I watched most of the game. Some positives:
- Good shooting: 58% from the floor, 50% on 3s, 81% on FTs
- Davis and White both look ready to contribute at least. Davis had a couple of nice drives. White was 3-4 on 3-pointers.
- Kodye Pugh had the dunk of the year already. I swear he took off from the FT line (that might be my memory playing tricks on me). It was called off for charging, but he's got some vertical.
- Our tempo was fast when the officials managed to swallow their whistles. Lots of long outlet passes.
On the negative side;
- 17 turnovers vs. 11 assists. Several of those turnovers were offensive fouls.
- As mentioned by others, too many fouls, most of the ticky-tack variety. I hope that doesn't become a trend--it's hard to watch games with so many fouls called.
- We looked a little lost on defense at times. Probably to be expected in the first game.
