My fantasy is that he wins it, goes to pick it up, and delivers this speech:
"Why I am grateful to the voters for naming me the recipient of this year's prize, I must respectfully decline the award. Since 1970 this award has been marred with regionalism, corruption, and Madison-avenue advertising campaigns, and I do not want to permanently associate my name with those values. I would much rather be in the company of Toby Gerhardt, Andrew Luck, and Christian McCaffrey who are representatives of college football's finest athletic, academic, and ethical qualities but who nevertheless did not receive the Heismann. My hope is that you will eventually reform how winners are selected so that the award will regularly fulfill its mission to recognize the "outstanding college football player whose performance best exhibits the pursuit of excellence with integrity."
