Stanford's latest verbal is Graham Shuler, Tennessee OL.  The kid looks great on his youtube video.  Excellent feet and sustains blocks...pad level looks a little high.  Looks to me like he could be a center or a  pulling guard a la the great David DeCastro.  I think we're getting a great kid and outstanding football player.

His dad,  Rob,  was a four year letterman on Auburn's OL and played on Auburn's 1983  national championship team.  Graham is 6'5" , 272 lbs.    He had offers from Clemson, Vanderbilt, Duke, Louisville, Cincinnatti , Boston College, Miss. St. Wake Forest and Purdue.  Reportedly it came down to a Stanford/ Clemson choice.  Shuler has played at all three OL positions,  but is listed as a center.  One story I read about Shuler said he was calling the in-game line play for his HS teammates.  Sounds like he's playing the game at a pretty high mental level,  which should help with Stanford's multiple schemes.

I dunno,  I read it and didn't bother to fact check it, which says more about my give-a-**** level concerning the SEC.  Probably meant SEC champion,  but I haven't fact checked that either.  Besides,  winning the SEC championship is the same thing to winning the national championship, right?  Guess I also figured that nobody associated with Auburn would lie, cheat or shade the truth.
