Alanna didn't have her best day today. She had 5 points in 12 minutes as Australia knocked off Nigeria 86-68.  They really did not need points from her as Liz Cambage had 34.  Alanna went 2/8 and had 4 fouls and 2 turnovers.

Tomorrow they play Argentina and on Tuesday it will be Turkey. I bet she gets on track vs. those two.

To be fair, she got clocked in the nose and had to be benched until it stopped bleeding. She went back in, so I think it was just a bloody nose and no long-term damage. But yes, not one of her best showings, all things considered!

Nice mind-meld, mbdude - I was just about to post the same! Looks like Alanna rebounded well from her bloody nose against Nigeria. Perfect 3/3 from the line, 1 of 1 from outside, five rebounds, two blocks, and an assist to go with 0 turnovers. Pretty efficient play in just 15 minutes.
