I don't think he graduated. His LinkedIn profile lists his education as Stanford 1989-1993. That would be three academic years. He's not listed in the alumni database, which is weird because anybody who completed three consecutive quarters is considered an alumnus.

Trust me on this one.  1989 to 1993 gives you four academic years.  With the 1989 earthquake & 1993 graduation that definitely was a memorable 4 year academic span for me.  ;)

However, I believe that Whitfield left for the NFL after the 1991 football season (only 2.5 academic years).  While at Stanford he was definitely round 1 NFL OL material, so there would have been little doubt he was going to get drafted.  Also, if I recall correctly, he had children even then, so multitasking the NFL, children, and Stanford on the side might not have happened.
