Might not be quite as bad as the Raiders on Thursday night but the parallels are there. I just hope Stanford doesn’t quit like the Raiders have

Sure, but that only explains us going 3-3 against them. 5-1? That means we've also regressed.
Also the fact that we've yet to play a road game this year against a team that wasn't beating themselves and look competent. Hell, we easily could've lost to ASU too. It's one thing to lose by a FG to a good team, it's another to be completely uncompetitive, and in 3/4 of our losses (again, barring a miracle here) we've been completely uncompetitive.

Sure, we have dropped a couple of home games to WSU, but home field in the UW series has held form since 2014 (which we won at UW). On the other hand, we have won 3 straight against Oregon (including 2 road games), 8 straight against Cal (home and road), 8 straight against Oregon State (home and road), 10 straight against UCLA (home and road), 8 of 12 against USC, and 7 of 10 against Notre Dame.
If we lose any of the final three games, then I think concern is warranted. However, we knew this game was going to be very difficult, if anything, on account of the most hostile road environment in the conference, and nothing has really changed that fact.

Today, we're really bad. Start off in our patented 3-and-out, and Eskimo Dawgs score on their first 3 possessions.
We can't run the ball, but are moving it through the air in the last 12 minutes of the half. With JJ out, that may change in the second half. We need to even the turnovers (we have 2) to have a shot in the second half.

It'd be nice if we actually showed up when we play in Seattle. 2 years ago was the same story. Absolutely awful play. And worse, the Pac12 app is god awful. I have a decent internet connection and the app freezes at least once a minute.

We are seeing the worst incarnation of what we reasonably expected this season - a truly horrible DL with very little experience, size and athleticism. Football starts up front, and this is hard to watch.
Having said that, at least this team has a faster gear on offense that can potentially move the ball quickly and come from behind. It's totally improbable, but not completely out of the question, as it would have been with prior Stanford teams and offensive schemes.
