Utah ends the half on a depressing 13-3 run, and we turn a 23-18 lead into a 31-26 deficit at the half.

Stanford had a 6 point lead at the 8 minute tv timeout and made only 2 FGs the rest of the game - a dunk by Davis and a 3 pointer from Okpala. Everything else was miss, miss, miss, miss. That was painful to watch. Like pouring lemon juice on a paper cut.

I was really hopeful for a better outcome, but it appears that this season is very much like the last 10 in that the program can't string together quality performances. The reasons may be different, but the results are the same.

We are now 323rd in the nation in turnovers. This is about the same as last year. The lack in improvement is frustrating and points to coaching.
I think Davis would make an excellent 2-guard like he was in high school, but we are never going to be any good without a true point guard.

I believe Haase promised Ryan he'd get time at the 1 as part of his recruiting pitch, and we saw Ryan running the point some before his injury. That said, neither of them are 1's. Neither is Wills.
Incoming frosh Tyrell Terry is a bonafide 1.
