The Stanford Football season ticket add-on and relocation tool went live today.
A few observations:
1) I was a little surprised that the most expensive sections (like 112-114 on the shady side, which command the largest donations) were pretty full. I think the 200 level (like 213) had some blocks of available seats, but I'm glad to see it would *appear* that season ticket holders who had to make the largest donations have stuck around despite the change to the tax law.
2) I see more seats available in other, less expensive sections than last year.
3) Overall, the renewal rate would *appear* to be pretty good (presumably buoyed by this year's mega line-up and *7* home games, which gave an implicit price cut).
4) This year, based on my level of engagement, I can use the tool starting on 3/29 at 3pm. Last year I was at 11AM on the absolute last day. Am I still on the last day this year (if so, I guess my engagement level is sliding) or have I moved up a little bit? I'm in my 4th year of being a season ticket holder and make pretty small Buck donations each year.
