yes excited for next year already. BTW, transfer threads on other sites indicate Marta in the transfer portal (presumably means grad school at least partially paid for -- good for her and we appreciate her contribution while playing and while otherwise leading).

Fran Belibi and Haley Jones have made the 5-member USA Today high school all-american team. Ashten Prechtel made the 3rd team. Congrats!

Hull sisters will be fine. They did things as frosh that you seldom see in terms of all around defense, quick and sure hands, quick to loose balls, pulling out contested rebounds, fundamentals such as eyes on opponent's waist to gauge where the opponent is going, ability to take defenders on drives if they play tight, good overall shooting from all areas on the court, ability to make assists. Where they need to improve is like one poster said, shoot their arms off in the off season to avoid streaky shooting; and work on their handles so they can penetrate easier.

Hulls did fine for being frosh. Their game will improve, and they will be in the rotation for the next 3 years if not starting.

Here I was hoping she’d work hard during the summer. Still hope that is the case but based upon theory of an under classman transferring then either her or Moschkau and presumably Moschkau accepted her role a while ago?

I'm not sure I see Tara's statement as precluding one of those players from transferring. For one thing, if they're smart and competitive and know what it takes, that might also mean they're willing to transfer someplace else to get more playing time. Brewer and Wilson I don't see because they have too much invested and why would you give up a Stanford degree for one year? And they seem like two of our most committed players. Plus, neither of them, nor Sniezek, opens up a fifth recruiting spot for the 2020 recruiting class, as BobK hinted. So that means it would have to be either Brown, Moschkau, or Jerome. I could be wrong, but both Moschkau and Jerome never seemed like their recruiting profiles suggested they thought they'd be starting much before their senior years. Brown, on the other hand, could very well want more playing time elsewhere, and with the multitude of shooting guards and wings we have and have coming in, may feel like Williams is likely to occupy the PG role for the foreseeable future. That's more or less the only position where there can be only one. So if I had to guess, I'd guess it would be her.
Hopefully this is idle speculation and it's no one. I like our team just the way it is, and I think Brown has a lot of potential if she can work on her confidence shooting outside.

I agree, Ionescu returning is good for Women’s Basketball, Pac-12 and of course, Oregon and hopefully Sabrina.
In the Baylor game something happened at the end. It’s the time she generally takes over a game but she didn’t. They could have and should have won. But she dissapeared. She had open 3s but didn’t shoot. She seemed scared or tired. She was not fearless. She made several bad passes seeming to want to pass the ball and put the game in someone else’s hands instead her own.

I agree, Ionescu returning is good for Women’s Basketball, Pac-12 and of course, Oregon and hopefully Sabrina.
