I was just curious about whether all Big Ten teams had been to the Rose Bowl, and whether any team's most recent trip dated before 1959. They all, including newcomer Nebraska have played. The Big Ten team whose most recent appearance was longest ago is Minnesota (1962).
Of the Pac-12, the newcomers have not attended, and Arizona, which joined the conference in 1978, has never played there.
