So the Colts are terrible without Peyton Manning, and speculation is rife about the permanent installation of Kerry Collins specifically to tank the season and acquire Luck with the first pick of next year's draft.  Sounds like a San Antonio Spurs move to me.

The Colts' vice-chairman Bill Polian was at the Duke game, and tongues began wagging about Luck-to-the-Colts.

There may have been other reasons Polian was on the road Saturday. His son, Brian, is Stanford's assistant special teams coordinator and the family's home is in Charlotte, N.C.

But wait!  Maybe Bill was there to see Brian's special teams coaching implode in the first half.

To be fair, I'm hoping that Doug Baldwin and Richard Sherman step up big and lead that team to some interesting victories, if only to spite Pete Carroll.
