I just wrote in the other thread but we are declining bowl games so UCLA is our season finale.

Quote:Stanford, winners of three straight and now bowl eligible, announced today that Saturday's game at UCLA will be its final contest of the season. After being on the road since Dec. 1, the Cardinal will decline postseason opportunities.
On Monday, the program will relocate to Santa Barbara, Calif. to prepare for Saturday's game at UCLA.

Thanks, JJJ. I think it's a good call to let the players spend Christmas/New Year's with their families. They've earned the break.
I wonder where the team is practicing in Santa Barbara? I work at UCSB and I'm not allowed on campus because I'm not essential enough. Lots of students hanging out in Isla V0iosta, however, which is adjacent to the soccer stadium that used to be the football stadium. Have no idea about availability at the local community college (across the street from the SB harbor) or high schools.

If there's one thing people have learned in Berkeley, it's that you can't put "Cal football" and "Rose Bowl" in the same sentence. The words just don't fit. You'd be better off linking "covered wagons" with "Mars travel." (Bruce Jenkins, Cal '70, SF Chronicle, Nov. 11, 2017)

I like how they still allow for the possibility of the CU/UO game playing in a rescheduled title game if UW/USC can't. If we beat UCLA, and one of CU/UO can't play, can we slip into the #2 game?
