This is my deal. I'd love to go to the USC game. I don't have a car, but I have money for tickets and gas. My cousin would have taken me, but he just cancelled. I work Friday until 10pm and I open Sunday morning at 6am. That means, if I go to the game, I'd have to come straight back. I live in Sacramento.

This is A LOT to ask for, and I don't expect anyone to do this....but here goes.

Is there is anyone here who is leaving Saturday morning to LA and coming back right after the game, who doesn't mind driving to Sacramento first? Someone who doesn't mind a 20 year old die-hard Stanford fan since 2009 accompanying them to the USC game? I would pay for my ticket and for gas. And if you have yet to pay for your ticket, I'd pay for that also. I have 250ish dollars in my account, so that should hopefully cover everything, even possibly two 60 dollar tickets.

Like I said, this is a long shot. If anyone is interested, I can PM you my phone number and we could talk more over the phone. I really doubt anyone going to USC for the game is going to come right back. I also doubt anyone would be willing to drive out of their way to Sacramento. This is just my hail mary attempt, because none of my friends will do it.

Why don't you take the bus and/or train down to the South Bay?  That might increase your chances of finding someone to "catch your hail mary" heave.  I think the driving to Sacramento part is a little crazy, as that adds more than four hours of travel time to the trip south.  Though you might find a Stanford fan in Sacramento...

Is there an alumni group in Sacramento (I have to assume there is)? If so, perhaps you can try to see if any of those folks may be able to help you out.

Actually, I think I won't be needing it. I found a way to the game where I will only be 20 minutes late to work. Amtrak/greyhound could get the job done.
