Colorado may not have to pay a penalty after all. Nebraska is claiming, “The bylaw is structured as ‘damages’ and it’s hard for me to see that there are any damages,” Nebraska chancellor Harvey Perlman said. “The Big 12 is getting more now than they did when we were a member.” Nebraska claims that they owe nothing. They may be right and even if they are wrong Nebraska and CU have a legal leg to stand on. Considering all the back stabbing that when on, this may embarrass the Big 12 into dropping the whole thing.

This may mean that CU will begin PAC 12 play in 2011.

My favorite part about this stance by Nebraska and Colorado is the possibility of litigation.  Can you imagine how fun discovery will be?  We can find out what actually went on and just how far Dodd\'s arm was up Chip\'s ass.  The Texas Ten Conference may have shot themselves on the foot by claiming that they stand to make more money without CU and NU.  No damages, indeed!
