Re: Austin Jones - I really hope to see some elusiveness from him this year. His long run last season was only 21 yards. 

You did not talk at all about special teams. We will see a new placekicker start the season for the first time since 2017. Any reports on Karty? Jet Toner was a reliable and underappreciated contributor for 4 years.

Thank you! Evan is terrific. I learn multiple things every time I talk to him. And the fact that he's called Big XII and K-State games before is a major plus for this week.

Echoing Spiny's comments - I think Evan's optimism but also causes for concern are spot on. I especially appreciate his saying he's more concerned about the defensive front seven than he is about QB. With the long term injuries to STM & McGill, I'd add the secondary to those concerns (i.e., the whole defense).

I'm not worried about Karty. I have a lot of faith in Coach Alamar. Will he have bad games? Sure, he's a rookie. But so have the last few predecessors
