The current uncertainty over the future of college sports because of the college athlete employee status issue is surely lowering the value of future media rights.

I’m watching more movies and less college football and the gap gets bigger every year. For many reasons I’m glad I live in Northern California and not In Tuscaloosa or Columbus. Let them eat cake.

Doesn't seem to be the case. This is a great time to have college football inventory for sale; good timing for the Pac-12 to substantially increase media rights revenue.
