WBB: Pac-12 Results of the Week
For WSU, which is basically an assembly of unknown foreign players who attended HS in their home countries, to be #4 in PAC 12 play at this junction is very impressive. Sure, it helps that they essentially have the same line-up as their NCAA Tournament team from last season, but their coaching staff really squeezes out the utmost potential from the individual talents that they have.
They are 6-4 right now in PAC 12 play, with 6 of their remaining 8 games at home. I think 4 of those games are winnable by their standards (at home vs. UCLA, USC, ASU and on the road vs Cal) which can potentially bring their PAC 12 record to 10-8, and if they can collectively will themselves to an upset in one of their back-to-back home games vs very talented but vulnerable Oregon team, hey, they can potentially end up 11-7 for the PAC 12 regular season, 19-10 overall and another probable NCAA Tournament invite.

Oh, wow! WSU gets routed BIG TIME by Oregon at home, 30-83, in a noontime match today!
That was a super impressive display of basketball at both end by the Ducks, especially because they were without leading scorer and rebounder Nyara SABALLY.
And for the Cougars....well, with this humiliating loss, doesn't speak well about their chances for an NCAA tournament bid, but it's just one game and, as long as they can win their forthcoming home games vs UCLA, USC and ASU and road game vs Cal, that's 4 of their 7 remaining games (I don't think they'll win vs Arizona, Oregon and Stanford), they'll end up 10-8 in PAC 12 regular season play and 18-11 overall, they can make the NCAA Tournament.
