Great stuff from the women's team last weekend!

Aline Krauter gets a nice 5-figure check in her LPGA debut. Now she faces Stage 2 Q-school followed by a two-weekend tournament. If she finishes top 45 (+ ties) she gets a full LPGA tour card as a rookie.

Andrea Lee wins her first LPGA tournament!!! She is the first Stanford alum to win on the LPGA since Hilary (Homeyer) Lunke won the 2003 US Women's Open.

Lee picks up a nice check for $225,000 as well as locks up her LPGA tour card for 2023. Lee began the season on the lower-tier Epson Tour, and has been playing great since winning an Epson Tour event earlier this year.

Wake Forest really brought a wrecking ball to the first 36 holes of play at the Stephens Cup going a collective -18, meanwhile Stanford currently sits in second at -7. As things stand, Sadie Engleman is leading the charge with an outstanding -4, just four strokes off the leader in third place. Rose Zhang and Ganne both sit back at -1, along with Rachel Heck being even. 

It is worth noting that the start times for Stanford were at 5:10am PT - so an admirable performance for the Cardinal despite it being so early on the body clock.

The Stanford women finished 2nd in the stroke play part of the competition and will face 1st place Wake Forest tomorrow in match play. These are the consensus top 2 teams in the country. As one of the Golf Channel commentators said, it's like Alabama vs. Georgia. A match-up of heavyweights.
