Don't disagree with you overall, but will note that the only way I could get the Pac-12 Networks was a $50 per month Sling package I dropped the second basketball season ends. If AppleTV+ at $12ish per month gets me all Stanford sports, I'd happily pay year round, whereas right now I turn AppleTV+ on and off depending on when the shows I like are running new episodes.
