interesting, fun article from Charlie Creme
I think our ranking of #16 is too low but that's not his fault.
His best case/worst case scenarios are not unfair.
As he says, for serious success we will need Cameron to be Cameron and for those around her to step up big time so she's not double or triple teamed swarmed on every possession, or if so, her teammates make them pay.
Some key questions hoping to see look good early on:
Crisp, smart, guard-based ball movement that's not resorting to obviously telegraphed passes?
(Lepolo? Clardy? a good start here sets up everything else)
Will Hannah Jump continue dead eye 3's and anyone else stepping up to help there?
(if no emergence of another dangerous 3 threat needing to be covered, then could be a frustrating year for Hannah)
Any of the other bigs or near bigs gonna beat the box outs & help on OBoard rebounding?
(tentative play under the boards would doom 2nd chances)
I was gonna add that UCLA could well be the beast of the PAC-12, but they ranked #3, so that already recognizes that likelihood
